Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central time, Monday through Friday, except for holidays. Our telephone number is 713.791.9400. Our fax number is 713.795.5651. We are available to handle your phone calls during normal business hours. A physician is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week through our answering service. Office visits are arranged by appointment only and scheduled for the morning or afternoon hours. Your tests can be performed during the morning hours and the results of these tests discussed during the afternoon visit. Other arrangements can be made for your convenience. If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, we would appreciate at least 24 hours notice.
To request an appointment, call us at 713.791.9400. We encourage you to make your appointment as far in advance as possible. We will make every effort to schedule your appointment and testing with your convenience in mind. Please have your health insurance card(s) available as we will request this information when you call. Our physicians understand the importance of your time; however, we ask for your understanding when medical emergencies occur which may cause physician delays.
Cancellations/Rescheduling
New patients are always welcome. Our board certified physicians will perform a medical evaluation, review your medical records/test results, and discuss your treatment options. We are also happy to coordinate your care with your primary and/or referring physician. We encourage you to contact our Scheduling Department at 713.791.9400 and arrange your appointment as far in advance as possible. Our Scheduling Coordinator will discuss your physician preference and appointment time options. You will need your insurance card available when you call us. Our physicians may recommend testing depending on your symptoms or diagnoses. Testing can often be performed on the same day as your appointment or a separate day depending on your preference. A new patient form is available for you to complete detailing your medical history. Please complete this form before coming to our office. You may print the new patient form. If you prefer, we would also be happy to mail the form to you. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment. Bring with you the following items:
Your medical records are extremely important. It is your responsibility to have them faxed to our office at 713.795.5651 prior to your appointment. We need pertinent records relating to your cardiac history including any cineangiogram or x-ray films.
During normal business hours, our automated telephone system is user friendly and designed to direct you to the appropriate employee to answer your questions. We understand you may wish to bypass this system and speak directly to the operator, which can be done anytime during your call by pressing "0". We have knowledgeable, trained staff available to handle your questions relating to medical problems, test results, prescriptions, appointments, insurance, payments, as well as hospital care and procedures. In addition to English, many of our physicians and staff are fluent in Spanish. Please let us know how we can help you.
After Hours/Emergency Calls
For medication refills, we ask that you call your pharmacy at least 3 days before your refill is necessary. The pharmacist will contact our office for authorization. Please allow at least 24 hours for the pharmacy to process your refill. If you prefer mail order prescriptions, need a new prescription, or a change in your current prescription, please contact us at 713-791-9400 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Test results can be obtained by contacting our office at 713-791-9400. Depending upon the type of test performed, results will be available in 2-4 days. Our physicians must review your test result and make recommendations based upon the results and detailed evaluation. If you have not heard from us regarding your completed test results, please call us to avoid any delays in relaying this important information to you. Patients may request copies of their medical records. Authorization forms are available by calling our office for your convenience. Your request must be in writing and state the medical records requested, where they should be sent, and include the patient's signature. Your medical records are protected health care information and will not be released without the proper authorization. Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing of your medical record request.
![]() Billing/Insurance Staff Billing, Insurance, and Payment Information Our Insurance Representatives are available to assist you Monday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Feel free to contact us at 713.791.9400. As a service to you, we will file your insurance claims. However, we do consider the patient primarily responsible for their account. If you have questions regarding your health insurance coverage, please call us. We are happy to help you understand this complex process. If you are a self-pay and/or international patient, please contact us prior to your visit so we can discuss payment arrangements. Our physicians are providers for the majority of managed care plans as well as Medicare. We will request your insurance information when you call to schedule your appointment. Before your appointment, we will verify your insurance. When possible, we will call you prior to your appointment if you will have a large payment due at the time of service. All patients will be asked to pay co-pays, deductible and co-insurance payments at the time of service. We understand that sometimes financial arrangements may be necessary and together we will discuss how we can help. Services performed by outside facilities such as laboratory fees and hospitalization fees are handled separately from our office. You will receive a monthly statement from us showing our charges. Payments and adjustments from your insurance company and personal payments will also print on this statement. If you have any questions regarding these statements, please call us 713.791.9400. We'll be happy to answer your questions. We accept all forms of payment including American Express, Mastercard, Discover, and Visa.
