Guilherme V. Silva, MD
“I have always enjoyed helping people, and medicine just felt to me like a natural way of pursuing and fulfilling that goal. I also felt the same way about cardiology when it came time for me to choose a specialty. I’m a ‘people person.’ I enjoy spending time with people and interacting with them, and I care about their well-being. So, for me, the feeling that comes from improving the quality of someone’s life – or even saving that life – is quite rewarding. I also understand that people need support and compassion and a sense that someone is making every effort on their behalf. So I strive to be very personally ‘present’ for my patients, giving them the warmth, care and attention they deserve... which I would want for myself. At the same time, I would want well-informed care that’s backed by training, skill and proven methods. Which is why I’m proud of my credentials and training... and why I’m driven to offer the very best for my patients at every turn.”
